Silver Heights Restaurant

Seventeen members & guests braved the cold & joined together for the warmth & camaraderie to enjoy munching & crunching our delicious meals. The food and service were great, and the conversations were lively & diverse – a reflection of our members, so quite entertaining!


Topics always seemed to swing back to our common passion - the birds – both domestic and wild, problem-solving or exchanging valuable care information.


As for the gift draws, there was little drama (unlike a few other years of wrestling & stealing) – everyone was polite and seemed pleased with what they had received.


We also took a few minutes to hold a quick meeting of future events and a proposed Club donation of $100 to the Manitoba Burrowing Owl Recovery Program, which happily passed unanimously.
